KA signed Serbian center-back Dusan Brkovic this week for the clash in the Pepsi Max League this summer.
Dusan is a 32-year-old defender who has over 150 games in Hungary and became, among other things, Hungarian champion in 2014, with Debreceni.
Dusan has about 70 games in the top division in Serbia, but last season he played 25 games and scored 3 goals for Diósgyöri VTK in Hungary.
Dusan and Brynjar Ingi Bjarnason will probably form KA’s broadcasters this summer.
“I am just happy with it. It’s been in some awesome aesthetics with some Danes and some Tjalli in defense. I will not underestimate them, they have worked well for many teams; Martin Rauschenberg and one Alexander Scholz. There have been good and bad Britons. I have to admit that I have missed getting one honest – some rock hard steel – from Eastern Europe, “ said Tómas Þór Þórðarson who is excited about Dusan’s arrival in Akureyri.
” He is not going to make any mistakes. He is not “He’s going to impress us with a flash of football, but he’s going to win a head-to-head duel and tackle people.”
“He and Brynjar could be a great midfield couple,” said Elvar Geir Magnússon and then Tómas said:
“Brynjar is great on the ball. This could be a bit of a Rio and Vida example; Dusan goes up, Brynjar goes under and all friends. “
Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic are, of course, one of the best midfielders in the history of the English Premier League.
